Subscriptions & Billing

How do I start the free trial?

Open the app and tap Upgrade or access the paywall from the Browse screen. Select the Annual or Monthly plan and tap Start 7-Day Free Trial. Your trial begins immediately and no charge is made until the trial ends.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store account, not through the app itself. To cancel, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Prosochê → Cancel on your device. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open Prosochê and navigate to the paywall screen. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple App Store account that was used for the original purchase.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

What is included in the free tier?

Free users can access the first 7 daily reflections, save up to 10 reflections, write journal entries, and use the daily reflection screen. A subscription unlocks all 365 reflections, unlimited saves, personalized prompts, and advanced features.

Profile & Data

Do I need an account to use Prosochê?

No. Prosochê does not use accounts, and there is no email or password sign-up. You can optionally enter a display name during onboarding or in Settings to personalize the app, and it stays on your device.

How do I change or remove my display name?

Open Settings → Profile, tap Edit, and update or clear your name. It is stored only on your device.

How do I delete my data?

Your reflections, journal entries, and display name are stored on your device. You can clear them in the app, or by deleting the app, which removes all locally stored data. Note that deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. Please cancel through your Apple App Store account first.

App Issues

The app is not loading or behaving unexpectedly.

Try these steps in order: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Restart your device. (3) Make sure you are on the latest version from the App Store. Note that your reflections, journal entries, and streak are stored on your device, so deleting the app will erase them. Back up anything important first. If the issue persists, email us with your device model and iOS version.

My streak reset unexpectedly.

Streaks are incremented when you save a reflection. If you did not save a reflection on a given day, the streak resets. Make sure to tap Save on the Today screen each day to maintain your streak.

I purchased a subscription but the app still shows free content.

Open the paywall screen and tap Restore Purchases, and make sure you are signed in to the Apple App Store account used for the purchase. If the issue continues, email us with your receipt or order number.
